  1. 1. We are experts; years of experience with a wide range of programmes has also made us extremely efficient.
  2. 2. We have great equipment and know all the tricks of the trade; and
  3. 3. the Panache team is very versatile. We comfortably deal with:
  • research
  • scripts
  • titles & animation
  • décor & set dressing
  • studio & location recordings
  • editing & final mix
  • and transfers to and from various formats (DVD, VHS, Betamax, Betacam, 8 and 16 mm).

If you wish to check on the quality and range of our work , please have a look at our Show Reel - it will take less than seven minutes of your time and could save you thousands of rands. (Please click through to the Panache Video Productions Youtube Channel to view various short examples of our work.)

For single camera recording we make use of a Panasonic GS400 and/or DVCAM for standard digital productions and a Panasonic TM-700 32GB for High Definition productions. We have several microphones for various applications. For recording events and functions, if SD suffices for your needs, we generally make use of an extremely economical portable 3 or 4 camera unit which also allows for a direct feed, from a computer with overheads, to our vision mixer. We can rig several microphones for events (choirs/stage productions) and can provide the PA system. We edit on the cutting-edge Grassvalley (previously Canopus) digital editing system (Edius VI), ensuring broadcast quality. Naturally HD function recording can also be done -- but the price will be significantly higher!

You could go the expensive agency route or the simple, one-stop, hassle-free Panache - route — which will also be much easier on your pocket!

We are based in Pretoria, but many of our productions have been completed for clients in Johannesburg or elsewhere -- recordings can be done anywhere in the country. We have recorded, amongst others, footage for corporate videos at many locations in Gauteng as well as in Thabazimi, Tzaneen, Ermelo, Brits, Rustenburg, the Tzaneen area, in the Western, Eastern and Northern Cape as well as in Ireland and the US.)

So whether you need an ad, a corporate informational/marketing DVD, wish to record a function/event, such as a lecture or conference, or a special occasion, such as a 21st Birthday -- or merely want old family videos or film transferred to DVD, give us a call for highly personalised and professional service.
